I'm in the same boat, no pun intended. I think I need to set up a "Sanity Retreat". Who's in? Thumbs Up

Yea, the weather has cleared now and the conditions call for all new tactics. So much for the rising water, the wind and the spawn.. I'm going to try Arkabutla tomorrow and try to pinpoint some fish. Wish me luck,,, if there is anyone up in Desoto who wants to fish with me or let me join you on a pontoon, let me know..

I didn't really get into them, but picked up 4 nice ones and no throw backs. I heard of another guy picking up 15 on the south side. The fish were caught about 3-4 ft. deep in 6-8 ft. of water and had been actively releasing there eggs. All were female. I jigged deep in the creeks on the north side.

Not much Big C, but it was better when you got all the way up the creeks into the fields. I believe though that the fish will very soon be working their way back out of the shallows.
