We found stake beds in 2 to 4 fow yesterday from the gravel pit to kellys crossing.

I know where Kellys is but which way is the gravel pit? I s there a lot of the stack beds?

The gravel pit is closer to the dam on the southside of the lake. lots of stake beds all around it. Super deep in the middle. I saw some bank fishing and waders in there too. Stake beds and brush is all down the bank from kellys toward the dam that are fishable.

I just want to thank whomever is putting out all those stake.I will try to do my part this fall.Did manage to find a few Sunday,with the water rising may get better.If they don't let it all out.

I hit a bunch of stakebeds Sunday. I only caught one and it was trolling the gravel pit in about 12 fow. They should be hot on this lake soon. At least that what I keep telling myself.

The deadline to start filling for summer pool is may i. I have caugt spawning fish in butla late in june, me personally anything from 215 and up are good conditions and low winds.

Mr.Jim i think the lake is over 215 now,but before its all said and done it will probably be in the 220's.It will surely be a while now.Went across 3rd ditch today it was scary!

Its over 220 now jumped over 6 ft in 24hrs. Still coming up.Time to hit the trees .
