Line counters are the most accurate when full. I back mine with 200 to 300 feet of cheap line then fill it with good stuff. I use Mr. Crappie Hi Vis 10#

Default I did a field check on mine

yeh, I actually broke out a 100 foot cloth tape and when I pulled the distance, I was only 2 feet off. I had 98 feet showing on my counter instead of 100. Close enough for me

Well I think im ready. Got the 8ft and 12ft pro trollers, line counter reels and a few more crank baits. Didnt realize I had so many natural color baits so Im gonna order some of those pink and other popular colors on the next go round. Thanks for all the advice.
