Reservoir Wading

I'm new to the Ridgeland area but grew up in Grenada crappie fishing. I don't have a boat, so I was wondering if anybody knows any spots at the Reservoir where you can drive to and have good wading areas. Are there any real good flats back up in the river anywhere?

Yeah I wade in Cold water off 51..Go across from the boat ramp you can see the back water off the highway before you get to the boat ramp..The fish on the front side by the rocks are in the stumps and trees but if you walk the woods down the trail they are in the trees only my best fish I've caught have been in the back. They are hitting red n white better than anything else. Or you can probably meet up with Mike at Cane creek..I'm am going to Hurricane this eve..You cant miss me if you ever see a guy in military uniform its me..Take Care n Good Fishing!!

I am sure there are some that wade the Rez but I would not be one of em, they's lizards in that there pond!!!!

They're having such good luck below the dam in the spillway area, try there.
