There are a few that complain about anything to do with the FJ's. Don't form your opinion based on them. Come fish with us, see what a great bunch of folks are there, then YOU decide whether they are for you or not.

This is a re-post from yesterday but it applies here.

For the life of me, I can't understand why we can't have a discussion about fishing or FJ's without some people, usually the same ones, wanting to make it personal. We have a board of directors that try very hard to make the FJ's a pleasant way to meet new people, make new friends and fish for some bragging rights. We want all the input we can get to please as many people as possible, but pleasing everying will never happen. I would hope that people discussing these matters would use good judgement and not resort to personal attacks at all.

A fish fry after a FJ would be good especially for the folks who don't have far too drive, but those folks that have a long way to get home usually like to get on the road right after the weigh-in. Like G said, come to our Fall Camp for a great cookout. We always have so much food you'll about pop from eating too much.

Not trying to start anything, but why not drop the entry fee. Then you will see how many people are fishing for money and the fj might really grow.I have fished maybe 6 or 7 fj's and did enjoy them. But about them being real friendly, not so much. The first 3 tourney I fished only one person introduced themselves and that was Speck. This is just my experience and I may be totally wrong.

Have a four hour tournament and then fish fry. Then go home...

Maybe you are just so ugly, that it scares most folks off. Wouldn't bother Speck, he has to look in the mirror each morning.
