Why are we still hung up on catering to other clubs and their schedules? Who cares if another club is fishing somewhere else and can't attend? Who cares if another club will be pre-fishing so if we schedule that date they might attend? Why do we care? If you are a member of another club and have to chose between touraments, then chose. If the objective is to get more attendence and more talent fishing our tourneys by people that don't give a rats arse about our group, then cater to them.

I personally have gotten a little bitter to the FJ's. I've fished them for a couple years now and have never won a dime, always at least one position out of the money. The tournaments are already dominated by people that live out on the water, most of which I've had a chance to converse with and could even consider some my friends, BUT after a tournament is won most have been tight lipped as h^ll and run with the money as fast as they can. How does this help us become better fishermen? Bring in more people that do not care about our group and we'll see even more of this response. Sorry to sound so bitter, but for us folks that only average one to two fishing trips a month, it's gotten hard to make that one trip a FJ when I'll surely be served another 50 dollar shalacking in the boiling heat and receive no tips or pointers in return.

As for the upcoming schedule, I like the idea of January-thr the spawn, skip the summer, then resume in Sept or so, and finish the year. 8 or so in the cooler months. I won't complain with whatever is chosen. Just my thoughts.

This simply isn't true. I enjoy fishing with the guys at MCC however their actions in the past indicate they could care a less about fishing the Fruit jar series. They have had ample opportunities to join in on the fun and they haven't. We support them way more than they support us and that's fine so I don't think trying to cater our schedule around theirs is neccessary.

Also, the attendance from the last two tournaments at Ross Barnett would indicate that we could use a better location for that area. Even the locals don't fish in our tournament at Ross Barnett. That should tell us something.

Grenada needs ot be an April tourney, March is too early, just a fact, been here close to 30 years.
I would like to see us fish Sept, Oct, Nov, Feb, March, April, May, and championship in June or either Like ES suggested Feb, March, April, May, June, Sept, Oct, and Championship in Nov. Take July, August, December, and January out of the picture.
I have committed to fish no matter when or where, name the time and places, will be there.

I'm too green to have an opinion-and have only fished the FJ's this year (only consider the last two as competing)-I wouldn't mind splitting it up between Fall and Spring.

Donnie you can't wade in FJ's. You have to stay in da boat.
