Yeppers Steve. Dats the place. I read some old fishing reports from that time of year and that's the place to be. Just South of Fort Morgan and up on the flats out of the boat channel is where they say it is. SOunds lke you've fished it a few times. Any pointers on it?

Easy way is to just let the current drift you across the bar and drag a big bait behind the boat with about 2-4 oz of lead, Carolina rig, and when you cross a dip or trough get ready for when your bait gets there. Or if you like to cast get a heavy jig and cast around the boat forward a little. I'm lazy so I drag and my old bass fishing buddy who has a house on DI likes to cast so he gets up front with the jig, gets hectic some times if his wife Bev and I both have fish off the back and he has one off the front.
