I have a magnolia in the yard that's been in full bloom. People drive up, get out and take pictures. Been like that for almost a week but this morning now the wind has it beat pretty bad. Looks like it snowed around the tree. We spent Fri, Sat, and most of yesterday at the grand opening of a new antique business where we have moved our shop stock from Red Wing to. Did very well with great sales numbers. Hoping to fish this week some.

Which kind of magnolia, a star or a saucer? We have stars all over the Metro. In the past thirty years they have gotten to be real dependable. Back when we were in Iowa City we had the bigger saucer magnolias; my sister and brother in law had a huge one when they were in Omaha, but they don't come much farther north than that.

Is your new shop in Rochester now or in a new spot in Red Wing? You were in the old location for quite a while.

Our Magnolia has the star flowers Dutch. The wind really nailed it today.

The new shop is west of Albert Lea near Walters. Its a rural setting called Back Porch Antiques. Its about 3 miles straight south of Alden off I90.
