Agreed. Small jigs are a universal bait.

Five of the biggest walleyes I have caught have come on small jigs, 1/32 variety, with baits in the 1.5" range while jigging docks for crappies late in the fall. The walleyes are the 10 pound + kind. My biggest walleye fell to a 1/4 ounce jig and a 3" plastic.
