BRRRRRRRRRRRRR!! and we complain about 35 degrees
Its above the zero mark this morning [6 degrees right now] and a boat or two is out on the river above Red Wing. That's pushing it a little as far as I'm concerned. I've done the open water at 14 degrees but that trip didn't last terribly long. I can find better things to do on a day like today. As soon as I finish shoveling the dusting of snow we got I am painting jigs, several hundred of them. Lots warmer doing that than listening to ice form on the hull and any exposed body parts..

-35 below this morning along the Canadian border. Guys were fishing the ice and doing well on walleye.
well if those guys can catch fish in ice i should be able to catch fish in la. winter time conditions…...
Yesterday at 7 AM when I left for the ST. Paul ice fishing show it was 28 below Zero.
Aren't there are roads, buses, trains and airplanes all headed south?
