Default More 16" Crappie On Rainy Lake With Woody's Fairly Reliable Guide Service

Another great day on Rainy Lake. Won't be long now and we will be chasing these slabs in a boat!
Today we have 30" of ice but the snow cover is melting fast and the two week forecast will certainly
knock the heck out of it. Of course Mother Nature can be fickle and it could get cold and let us keep ice
    fishing till mid-April.

Man it looks cold up there!
If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles.

The lake just north of Rochester is wide open and the slabs are on the prowl. I spent part of the morning on a dock with a friend and we smoked maybe 75-100 crappies in a couple hours. All plastic for bait.
