Early heads up for all the lakestaters! Feb. 12th, Cedar Lake in Wright county near Annandale. Overall 12th largest fish will win a custom built fully decked out 6.5 by 16 wheelhouse! We also have a generator and a power auger that will be given away.

"This is a benefit tourney for a friend of mine who lost her fiance in a plane crash a week before their wedding. We are trying to raise some money for her and to get their son some savings going to. Carter (the son) is only 1 year old.

We are early in the planning of this and donations and prizes are still coming in. This went from a small idea to something very large scale. I will post all prizes closer to the date, i do know we are working on some other big prizes, there will also be a silent auction after the contest at Maple Lake Legion club."

I'm planning to attend, hopefully we'll find someone to drill holes for us, as you have to drill your own.
