    Hey Jimmie -

check out the Lake Finder section of the Minnesota DNR website for some maps and such. I use it quite a bit when headin out to a lake the first few times. (google mn dnr, and on the home page click on the "fishing" link and you'll see the lake finder link in the body of the page) The MN DNR survey year was 2006, so take that info with a grain of salt....

I've never been to osakis, but looking at the topo maps makes me want to give it a shot sometime if i'm up in that area. I have some theories on where walleye and pike would be, so if you want theories let me know

I did hear the walleye bite is sporadic right now, but not isolated to one spot on the lake. Sounds like they're spread out all over. I'd imagine your typical walleye pattern would suffice, weeds/edges near points and dropoffs.

When you headin there? What are you after?
