A good day in a bad way

Went to church then took girlfriend out on boat to just ride around for a hour till I pick up my fishing partner at bassclub at 2pm. While we were just riding around I found a new tree in the water so I just had to throw a jig toward it and on the second cast BAM 14 inch crappie and my girlfriend looks at me and says "this fishing isnt too hard' by the way she doesnt fish.Anyway took her to the shore at her house and took off to pick up my fishing partner got to the ramp and didnt hear the motor peeing water loooked back and sure enough no water but was working when I launched the boat. WE decided to just use the TM and fish around bass club ended up with 6 good keepers and one barely legal.No pattern or special color just around brush in 3 to 15 feet of water only one throwback.Guess I will replacing waterpump tomorrow AM then a little bass tournament tomorrow evening.By the way if anybody likes to catch stripe,hybrids or rockfish they were in the jumps at the bassclub when I left with a weak TM battery.Hope everybody had a good day.

Man, that sounds like my luck Trashtrout.Thought as I was reading that, you was going to say you have an extra fishing partner now. lol Hope you catch a load in the tourney tomorrow.

Didnt get the boat fixed in time for tournament, but it is ready to go now.
