congrats to all , and good job on a tough windy day.
MTCC fished its June tournament at Tim's Ford yesterday and with the major weather pattern change we had over night prior to fishing, this day was tougher than expected. Wind was something you had to shelter yourself from as much as possible as its just tough to fish in 15-20 mph winds. Tim's Ford is a great lake to find shelter from the wind on though compared to most. Yesterday was cloudy and much cooler to fish than we all had expected which was good. We had 11 boats fish this tournament and 6 of the 11 found some fish but nobody found a 7 fish limit though. Results below.
Taking 1st place was Rodney and Coby Edwards. They had 5 crappie to take the win. Coming in 2nd place was Toby Ivey and Ethan Sanchez with 3 keepers. Then coming in 3rd place was Mark and Tracey Coble with 1 fish taking 3rd place and BF of the day both. It weighed in at 1.65 pounds.
Our next couple months we are going to be converting over to fishing at night for our tournaments. The night trips are cooler and can really be very productive if we hit them on good nights. Come fish with us if you get the chance.
