Southern Middle Tenn Lake report

Thought it was about time for another Southern Middle Tn local lake report. Report is brought to you by reports given from members of the MTCC.

Fishing reports have been few and far between sent in to me from anybody fishing Tim's Ford so I have no reports to give for that lake. Am sure the same type places as you would think are where fish could be found on that lake. Its primarily been a brush or dock kind of lake as I have not very much every found any fish there out in open water for any long length of time.

Have had quite a few reports come in for Normandy. Its been so hot and cold there its not even funny. At times, you can wear them out but at other times, the fishing dries up as quickly as it got good. Last few trips there have netted a very minimal amount of quality fish on my trips and with a good many others who have reported fishing at night there recently. Not had any day reports in quite a while from there. And,

Last but not least, Woods Reservoir has been the lake of choice by quite a few anglers as the fishing there has become pretty good as the abundance of 10 to 12 inch fish are certainly there. I would say in one year, that lake should be full of real quality fish if they make it that long. Lots of good reports from Woods these days.

With the weather we have had this summer, the fish seem to be found in new areas but once you find fish, you should be good for a few weeks. Good luck with your fishing if you get a chance to get out on the water.

Thanks for the report. Will try again this weekend to get out and maybe I will have something to say. Haven't said that much this year because I haven't had any luck.
