Way to go guys.
Went to Guntersville Saturday morning with BigOrangeSlab and JohnW. We arrived at the fishing hole shortly b4 it was light out so we put lights in the water. Wasnt long at all till we seen a few minnows under us and then our first keeper in the boat. After that it was steady till around 8 am when the fish all disappeared for the day. Water having current from generation at the dam is definately a good thing at Guntersville. While its generating, its pretty good fishing but when it stops, so does the bite, or at least that has been my experience. Am still learning the lake there and its nice to know my electronics can still reflect large amounts of fish. We took home 14 keepers. We didnt have any really large keepers, but there were some nice ones though. John, as he's done many times b4, caught the most of them on minnows with his tightlining technique we call the John Wells rig. Tracy caught a few nice ones on Charlie Brewer Sliders, which is always a great go to bait and I caught a fish or two on a new bait that may or may not be available to the public yet but Im sure it will be. Has great action and texture, and the fish seem to love the size and action of it. Pink was the best performing this day. Bring on the Fall, the Football, and the Fishing but in reverse order.
