Thread: MTCC 3 Fish Tourney July 5th Normandy NIght 730PM - 12:30AM

MTCC is hosting a wildcat tournament next Friday night, July 5th. This tourney will be a 3 fish limit tourney, meaning you will weigh in only 3 fish, not the usual 7 fish. YOU MUST pick your best 3 yourself and ONLY bring 3 fish to the weighin!!! Out of your 3, we can check for biggest crappie for big fish pot though if you like...... This tourney will be a winner take all event and it's $10.00 per person or household, not per boat to fish in it. Fishing is allowed from boats only. There will be a big fish pot, but it's going to be funded by the club. The pot will be $25.00 to winning boat/team. If you are not part of the club, you may join before the tourney as well and then you can fish the tourney from your boat as a member. Memberships to the club are $25.00 per household and that covers the whole family. Also, for each paid membership, we give away 1 free hat too. Non members can fish this tourney at no charge, but they must be fishing with a member though. Also, any team who wants to keep their fish separate and compete as a single person entry, or against one another in your own boat, this is the perfect tourney for that since its a winner take all event. If you are a registered member of the club and have paid your $10.00 for the big fish of the year pot, if you catch the biggest fish friday night and that fish is bigger than 1.58, we will register it as the biggest fish of record so far this year. Other than that, we are not keeping any club stats for this tourney!!! Big Fish of year, must have been caught by the person registered for pot.

Start time for tourney is 7:30 PM and all boats need to be in by 12:30 AM.
Entry Fee is
One man in boat $10.00
Two people from same household $10.00 total.
clubmember/Friend fishing with clubmember/friend $20.00 total.
Member with child or children under 16 $10.00 total.
Mom, Dad, & grand kids, $10.00 per household.

Anybody planning to fish this tourney should be at Barton Springs ramp in time to pay and register, launch and be ready to blast off at 7:30 PM. There may be some traffic from the day left over at the ramp, so plan for that. We will have our regular monthly tourney at Normandy on the 19th.
