    Default Rain and High Water?

So I can only fish on the weekends and of course it has rained pretty good the last 2, what will this high water do to the crappie on Tim's and Normandy? I am sure they are spawning but just how well is that going with the cooler water temps? Seems to me that I have had a coat on every time I have been out this year so far. Either Raining or cold or both. Haven't done well with the crappie at all this year much. Not to many people saying much at all about local fishing. Crappie fishing is suppose to be in full swing now. Is the weather keeping everyone off the lake?

Yes Dave, conditions have not been good for me this year either for sure. I've been fishing eleven total trips in 2013 with five of those being tournaments, 3 more extremely cold non productive trips, two trips down to lake Guntersville and one evening trip to a small lake near home with Marlin. That's been it for me so far this year. That's way under my norm, and I too share your pain for weekends not being great weather very often so far in 2013.

Well Tims is very high and we had a lot of rain over night that will be running into the lake.I was at the dam and there dumping all they can with a three gates open.
Water is in the fields at the city park and all around the lake.
In my opinion ths is not at all good for spawning season!Very high water and then droping it down fast is not good.
Lots of trash in the water trees, etc so if boating be cautious!!Not much need in trying to fish until it settles down however for cast is for more rain next weekend???

Yea ths stuff seems to be just rolling around over GA, TN and AL. Looks as if we are right in the center. Been watching the forcast for Sat. hoping it will change but they still have storms showing. The guys from work I've told about the kids day all bring up the weather. We'll see.
