Sounds like a good time. Could probably make a 6pm start on a Friday night. With a little advanced notice. Ask Tom and he will tell you they are biting at night now.
My goodness, it was warm outside today. Made me start thinking about night fishing again. Had a blast last year with many friends from our club all sort of keeping up with one another and night fishing on the same nights. We hope to start up some club night fishing tourneys in the not too distant future for some added fun. There are many club members who can not fish with us on Saturdays as they have to work, but maybe some can fish some late Friday evening into the night tourneys and still get home for a few winks before its off to work on Saturday. I'm thinking we may have a few that will end about midnight and as it gets hotter they may start later and end about 1am or so. We will do what the majority wants to as far as when we come back in. There is nothing like the peaceful clear crisp air out at nights, especially when the fish are really biting well. I cant wait.

did not bring a light but seems like the bite was just turning on .
i enjoy night fishing, there is less traffic on the water and i don't have to wear sunscreen, just bug spray lol.some of my best fishing trips have been at night & early morning.
GOD loves fishermen, the earth is 75% water
If you look back a few posts you will see that slabbacks has already been getting them at night. He is cheating though and has a houseboat that he can get into to keep warm when the thermometer drops.

They may have been hitting a little bit
bigocarp, that spot we spoke about over on Normany would have been hit this week if not for all that rain and some plans the better half and I have tomorrow.I’m going up there next week though with Royce depending on the water if anyone wants to go. Be fun to have a few boats around and tell fishing lie....I mean stories too and pull in a few slabs.
