I got to fish today and went to Normandy so I didn't bother anyone's secret place for tourney day. Had a good time but never connected like I wanted to. Ended the day with 5 solid fish and a big smile. Met a bass fishing guy named Chad and we talked and fished side by side for over 2 hours. No weather or boat traffic to bother us. Steve Knight was putting in for second shift as I was pulling out, hope he found some. I fished shallow and deep, found fish on deep timber. Someone putting in had lots of pink on the rods laying in the boat, I think I see a pattern here. What say you Carpy? Safe day and lots of big fish tomorrow for everyone in the tourney, I know where I would go.....Skeet.
