MTCC had it's monthly tourney yesterday July 23rd. It was a big fish tourney, not a regular points tourney but you get 3 points for participation toward Angler of the Year. We was able to choose any of the 3 lakes we fish, and weigh-in was 12:30 pm. Some found fish and in big quantities, others had difficulty finding keepers. We had 3 boats go to Normandy, 3 boats to Tims Ford, and 1 boat go to Woods Reservoir. There was a boat from each lake that was able to catch a stringer as 1 had 22 keeper fish, 1 with 13 keeper fish, and another with 8 keepers. Those 3 boats was all on different lakes so no lake was without fish at the weigh-in.
After weigh-in was complete, it was found that Randy Anderson and John Wells had the fish that took the day. A 1.61 pound Crappie taken at Normandy. John said Randy caught it and he admitted at the weigh-in, the bait was purchased in quantity and carried to the water in a bucket but he wasn't saying what it was. Rofl Just kidding. Want to thank everyone who attended this very hot month to fish as we had 7 boats enter.Hands Clapping
Would like to invite anyone reading this to come check us out sometime and possibly join in on the fun. We are just a small club that meet once a month in the Winchester Tn area and fish the 3 local lakes for crappie. We are not only about fishing tourneys, as we try to teach something at each meeting and we love to have fun, and fellowship with each other, and gain new crappie fishing friends when we can. Point is, we would love to have you come join in on the fun. We keep things family friendly and work hard to keep things fun for everyone. Dont worry about its too late in the year to join, as your dues are good for 1 year from any time you join, so come along and get started before the fall season gets cranked up. Maybe your the one to come show us some new things.Thumbs Up
