April 9th Kids/Co-ed Tourney
Well it's just about only 2 weeks away from our first kids/co-ed tournament. Being this is the first time we have ever had this, we are sort of unsure as to how many folks to expect for this tourney, and how many are going to have small children. If you don't mind, please let us know your intentions on fishing it by a post here, an email, or a pm as soon as possible. To get this started, I will tell you that my daughter has confirmed with me that she would love to spend that day fishing with her daddy, so it's me and my daughter fishing April 9th. She is 19 so she won't be considered a child. She is much more into other things than fishing with daddy so I think this is only the second time she has ever went out on the boat just her and I fishing. I'm really looking forward to it.
This is an open tourney too btw, so if you are currently not a member and would like to fish this tourney on Woods Res with a child, a spouse, or anybody that is opposit your gender, feel free to come. The entry fee for this tourney is $30.00 per boat to all boats, plus the optional big fish pot at $10.00 per boat. There will be no additional non member fees or super slab entry fees associated with this tourney.You do get participation points credit for it however, that can go toward the angler of the year points system. This tourney is intented to be relaxing as possible and time spent fishing with someone we wanted to share the water with for this day.

I plan on fishing it with my wife and two grand kids (4 & 10 years old) or some combination of them and me. I also have two rod and reel combos and two panfish tackle kits to donate for the tourney.

Kids/Co-ed Tourney
Well I have heard from most of you, and I have an idea of who all is attending with whom for the Kids/Co-ed tourney. Got alot more co-eds than kids at the moment, which is just fine, but I sort of thought we would have more kids than I have registered so far. I have about 4 to 6 kids at this time and 6 boats or so entering this event to date. I think we should have a great time for some real active fishing by April 9th. I cant wait.
