Thumbs up Memorial Day Fun Day/Big fish tourney

Well, I have to say that we had an awsome time today at the lake. We had 6 folks show up for the big fish tourney today and JohnW and his grandson was able to take the big fish money home. Not many boats caught alot of fish but we had several speak of catching alot of stripe today except for me, GCF and BOS who fished a different side of the lake than the rest. Even though we didnt get big fish, we was still able to load the boat with some real nice keepers, 13 total for the morning and we had a good many that was close to keepers around 10 inches that we didnt even check cause we didnt want to clean em. I took the ones we got today and had a nice bowl of crappie after cleaned. All the ones we caught was in 12 to 14 fow or so and was in structure. Today was a good mixture of minnows and jigs, with minnows being the better choice. I came on home after the tourney but I think ole BOS went back to fish the evening with his family. We was edged out of the big fish pot by .05 but we still had an awsome time fishing and enjoying everyones company afterh the tourney. :D Congrats again to JohnW and his grandson. Thanks to everyone who was able to come fish today. We will try to have some more of these big fish tourneys. They pretty fun too. Aint that right John? lol

You should only let John fish those tourneys if they are held on Tims. He wins all of them on Woods.
