Go and catch em. There were deer runnning everywhere this morning. I saw about 10 behind the house running in circles and having a great time chasing each other. Must have seen another 50 on my way to work. I know that the fish will going crazy today with this cold weather moving in. Too bad I have to work or we would have tried out that new contraption that you have up front and see if your boat will indeed still float.:D

It works, but you just have to remember to keep the motor trimmed all the way down for counter weight or over the front we go if ya lean that way. lol. I wanted to go fishing tomorrow but now have to deliver a couple units on my truck and trailor to Albertville.Somebody wanna meet me tomorrow morning and fish Guntersville? Start from Waterfront grocery, and I can be there about 10 or 11 am.

If we still lived in Alabama I would be at Guntersville for sure. Bro in law is tearing them up under the bridges on HWY 69 causeway. He catches a lot of big crappie in Dec...Feb. If the housing market ever recovers we would like to move back between Scottsboro and Huntsville close to where we lived before.

Hey Oldwun.I travel through there every week with my job.Went to Scottsboro yesterday up 72 there. The housing market around Huntsville is recovering fast but I figure you are speaking of where you currently live in order to sell your home there.Good to see you back online again.Hope you are feeling well these days.

At 9:30 I headed home after a daybreak start at woods. Would've stayed later if I could have found active fish. Strong wind from SW, or out of the ferry- whichever way that is, made boat control tough. Bridge was impossible, candy store had wet mountains in it, didn't get a hit all mornin. Probably do better this afternoon if the weather isn't too bad. Good day to enjoy the grandaughters company. Good luck if y'all go, mind the wind. Real rough in the middle of the lake.

:DWell took my old blue bomb to the lake today.I was on Percy fishing one of my favorite spots all alone.I watched the weather and checked online for wind.It was suppose to be 4-6 mph out of the wsw.So that sounded great. Wind from the west fish will bite the best wind from the east fish will bite the least.I got to my honey hole tossed out only 6 rods double rigged.Set back and drifted up and down the channel and the wind kept getting faster and faster.I was there probably about 2 hours and came home with 10 nice keepers.Everything over 11 inches I know I dropped my length size today since it was cold. But all in all it was a good day to think about life be alone and no one to interupt my fishing.Came home and piled up in front of the fire and got warm and took a nice nap.
