Default Woods Res Dec 19th 2009

Well the rain and cold caused us to cancel our tourney for the day but me and ole BigOrangeSlab decided to head out just before lunch anyway and wet a hook. We was sure glad we did. Had one of our best days ever together and caught fish almost non stop the whole time we was there. We mainly fished areas that was shielded from the wind and we noticed that we didnt see a soul besides up fishing the entire day.We didnt mind that either.:o Anyway, we ended the day catching at least 35 or 40, but didnt bring home but the nice ones.We kept 14 for Tracy to wittle on tonight.I have plans and cant clean any so off to Huntsville I go.Managed to take one picture that I can share today.Took some videos today. We havin fun with the video camera on fishing days like today.

i must say that today ,out on the water with gcf has to be one of my most productive outings.kept 14 nice fish for the freezer, caught several more like gcf said close to 40.weather was not our friend today, but that did not stop the fish from biting.i guess it just means that any day is a good day to fish.
the next time you guys are sitting at home and wandering if you should give it a try,i say GO FOR IT.....going to get some fishing in before christmas my son,s coming in tuesday night and wants to go out on wednseday.would like to have another good day like we had today.i really enjoyed it....thanks gcf

Glad to hear that you guys had a good time yesterday. The older I get the more I enjoy fishing! I have a poor memory but I can recall most every fishing trip I've ever made and I thank the Lord for every one of them!!

    Default South East Crappie

Hello folks and welcome back to another addition of South East Crappie.Havnt heard of South East Crappie? You will. The link below will take you to a small clip from one of their famous S.E.C. episodes. As you can tell after watching the video you was not witness to any fish being caught and that was to protect the locations of the catch.:D We had to find a spot out of the wind so you would be able to hear what was said.If you are really bored and want to spend 2 more minutes of your life absolutely waisted, click the video link below and watch 2 ole rednecks who will someday be on a station near you.lol

I am glad that you guys had a great day and left us suffering on Normandy. Brian and I did not have a good day there at all. Almost froze the man to death. I liked the video and I know that you did not catch any fish in that spot because I have fished it many times with no luck at all. The only thing biting at Normandy was the wind, bluegill and small bass.
