i really enjoyed fishing today with gcf and johnw.for me, any day out on the water is enjoyable, but to spend it with two good friends makes it that much more enjoyable.thanks guys!!!!
Decided to go fishing today and took JohnW and BigOrangeSlab along for the ride.We got to the dock about 9:30 am this morning and spent a few minutes bundling up for a cold day.Actually as far as the cold, the weather was not a huge factor except for the wind that was awful all day.We talked to Emily, the creel girl at days end :D and she told us that there was just nobody coming off the water with any crappie.Had a few say they was catching some bass. Made us feel pretty good after we told her we had 6 keepers and 1 that was nearly 2 pounds. We had to try several spots today before we found fish number one, then 2 and 3 and 4 came quick.........Took a few more hours for number 5 then number 6 came about 345 as we was leaving. Seen a cloud coming and the fish was definately not biting good enough to stay through a rain shower.Had a blast fishing today though.Sure beat sitting at home or shopping for sure.

GOD loves fishermen, the earth is 75% water
Enjoyed today also guys. Thought it was a good day. I believe if the wind had not been so high,we would have done better.

Creativity is just intelligence fooling around
Glad to see you guys getting a few and scouting a few areas. I know that you were not giving up on any secret spots or anything like that so I suspect that the boat driver was doing a little sandbagging if you know what I mean.:D I spent the day on injured reserve. (on the couch with sprained ankle) Long story. I assume that you were catching them around 3' deep under the bobbers? Brian called Friday night to secure his spot in the tourney. I told him to bring at least 10 dozen minnows for this trip as I was expecting a great bite next weekend. See ya guys on Thursday night.

Up there at Normandy, you know way back up in that creek called Riley, I think, anyway there is some real nice boat docks and such up there. They are located on the left side and the water is alot more calmer there during windy days and such. That is NOT where we was fishin. Minnows you say for next week? Nay, just take your BG's and you will do just fine.Brians the one who scares me........He brings the winning tradition to the boat everytime hes in it...........
Good deal boys. Nice crappie.
