Welcome Justjiggin! Have family in Lapeer area. If all works well this next week, will have a new boat to chase them slabs with. Haven't fished Holloway, but I sure will put it on the "hit list" along with Bellville. Good luck. BTW did you guys get hammered with all this snow? Had 12" on my deck this morning. %#@#%! Sure will be nice next week when the wife and I head south to Kentucky Lake to hunt them BIG southern slabs. I've had enough of this winter stuff.

    Hello JustJiggin,

welcome to the site. I'm new to the site and crappie fishing but Tonyc is going to help me learn a few things also on the Hollaway. It's great that we have a core group that are contributing tips and information to our Michigan site about all of these local lakes. With gas looking like it's going to hit $4 plus a gallon I know I'm willing to team up and hit a few lakes! Good luck on the new season and good fishing.

Thanks to all for the replys, im still waiting for some soft water does'nt seem that winter is going to let go this year. For Tony im always fishing holloway for crappie and walleye so stay in touch and we can swap some tips and areas to fish.I read that you fish mott,I would like to learn a about that system a little more,i fish the dam but have never fished the lake. This pretty much goes for anyone that would like to fish this excellent crappie resivoir, drop me a line and lets catch some slabs.
