One shot i to am a walleye fisherman at heart, but like you trying different things.Last year was the first year to go specifically after crappie after the middle of june. The Holloway walleye bite takes a big dip after that.Let me know if you ever want to hook up,i will be on the water about 3-4 days after ice out.

    Default Lets Get-r-Done

    Hey Tonyc,

I'll all for getting out with you but it looks like ice out is going to be much later this year then last year, or the past few years for that matter. Hit me at my email address and we'll swap phone numbers and maybe we'll get a chance to hook up. I work M-F but I get 30 days vacation a year, all of which I usually take to go fishing I'm wide open for most weekends though. I never have been to the reservoir but I've heard that there are nice crappie and a few eyes there.

    Oneshot,
Yes looks like late ice this year.Holloway has some great eye fishing from the opener till mid june, last year my biggest was 23in.Crappie fishing can be great with some true slabs coming from there.Mott also has some excellent crappie fishing.I will definately email you my phone# & hopefully we can hook up.I am lucky enough to have a online business so i can fish whenever i want.

    Default What else fishing

Hey, oneshot i will contact you when I find out something, I live near the detroit river, trenton channel is 5 mins. away, if you want to go for river walleye or the annual silver bass runs. If anyone wants to know about the run let me know and I will give you all the info and places I can. In response to the "what kind of fishing" I can do shore, as that's what I do now, If I can't get a rental. I am trying to find different places to go. Gotta go dinner is on.
