It's not a major setback thankfully, I'll have it going again before the weekend.
You're correct on the build. The springs are longer & a little beefier than what are currently available so my options were to buy the new smaller version, cut off the slip joint & reweld it on the trailer or pay extra to have new, original specification springs made. I chose the latter.

I greatly appreciated everyone welcoming me to camp my first time. Such a great group of people only interested in having fun and helping others to do the same. See you on the water!
