Went to a central Michigan lake looking for crappie moving into the channels. Water temp was 57° in the channel, didn't check the main lake. Found the crappie hugging overhanging brush and fallen limbs. Using fathead minnows 18"+/- under bobber. I like to use minimal sinker & have it up tight to bottom of bobber to allow minnow more swimming.

Ended with a limit with 3 minnows left. Made my wife & I a nice dinner from the smelt I dipped last year on Drummond Island. Now off to clean crappie then go restock minnows. Taking a friend in the morning.Name: 20240413_140756.jpg Views: 97 Size: 64.6 KB
