Nice. Thanks for sharing
I hit our early season crappie canal today. It started a bit slow but once the sun got higher they started to get more active. It took just under 3 hours to get a 2 man limit of good eaters, 9"-11". BGBS on a jig under a float took all the fish. Glitter Critter or anything brownish were the hot colors. These are getting filleted and bagged and are going for a ride to Georgia and Louisiana with me later this week.

Thanks for lighting the inspiration, need to get the boat ready!
Probably not that lake. It's more of a numbers lake, that's why I don't feel bad taking a couple hundred out of there in the spring. It doesn't have a public access and we rarely see more than 3-4 other boats out there- and that's on a weekend day. We've had 250 fish days out there before.
There's a few real good crappie lakes in that same area and we should be able to hit them pre spawn when they're shallow and aggressive.
