Thread: Kind of a newbie but catching some

Good Morning! Just wanted to introduce myself since I'm new to the forum. I've been fishing all of my life. I grew up north of Midland and spent hours upon hours fishing with my Papa on the Rifle River, Pine River, and Saginaw Bay. I lived 5 miles from Wixom Lake so fished that a lot as well for Bass and sunfish/bluegills. I've never had a boat until May of this year. Shortly after I got my boat I decided I've worked plenty in my life so I decided every Friday would be Fishin Friday. I live in Carson City and an old friend of mine moved to Sheridan this summer so it's been he and I fishing every Friday. We started out targeting Pike and got so we'd get them every time we went after them so we switched off to targeting Crappie. I want to be able to catch Crappie regardless of the conditions. We're not doing too bad but we're learning a lot. Tight lines and hope to have a great time posting our stories, successes and failures, and learning all we can about these slabbers.
