Default An Evening with a Friend

A friend of mine who doesn't fish unless I take him was finally free to go this evening when I was going for the first time this summer.

He recently tore his knee up and is waiting on when surgery will be, unfortunately this will cause him to miss riding along with me on a bird hunt to Colorado next month.

We didn't get many crappie this evening on a central Montcalm Co lake, but enough for a meal to send home with him and they were quality.

Pictured is my friend Mike with his PB crappie this evening that was just a whisker over 14".

Way to go! Always fun getting those out that don't go often and putting them on a few. A PB is the icing on the cake!

Sounds like a good trip. Hope he doesn't expect a new PB every trip. By the way, that's a pig, you should charge a guide fee.

I'm usually pretty quiet when I fish.
