    Default Wilbur and walleye

Wanda and I got a chance over the 4 th to get in a 3 day walleye fishing trip to Erie out of Huron Ohio
The first day was flat calm so we went 15 miles out to try an area known as the weather buoy.
Bugs were horrible but fish were biting, crawlers near the bottom worked well.
We usually get a better grade of fish out there, was not the case this time,all18-23 inch , good eaters though.
Decided to try closer the next two days and found a area north east only 6-7 miles out that was full of fish, limits both days in a couple hours .
It was so hot we had to jump in a couple times to cool off, then just cruised around checking out the sights from the boat
    Was a good trip
Even remembered to take Wilbur Name: IMG_1959.jpg

Good job, nice catches. I couldn't imagine fishing a lake that large. That's a lot of water especially when you fish from a kayak...lol.
