Default Second trip of the spring

Hit my super secret spring crappie hot spot again yesterday. With the warmer weather and sunshine the fish are flooding into the canal on Wall lake that I fish. Oops, I never could keep a secret. I launched the row boat about 10:00, rowed about 30', dropped anchor and proceeded to catch close to 100 crappie in the next 3 hours. The average size was better than last week and I kept a limit(25) with the biggest right at 13" and 10 11" and bigger.the rest were in the 10"-11" range. Any color and style of plastic worked. I was fishing 12" below a set bobber in less than 3' of water. Going to fry them up this afternoon and my grandson is going to get his first taste of grandpaw fish.

Wow, sounds like a good day on the water. I plan on going out on Monday to my local lake in my Kayak. Will see how I do..
