With the rain they might be too muddy for the minnows to find your trap. I've jugged minnows in the spring in the past with no issues.
Was putting out some minnow traps to start stocking my rain barrel for the summer. Unfortunately I'm not catching anything. Could the streams and rivers be too cold for minnow trapping yet? I'm over by Grand Rapids

Add a hot dog or some attractant. Sometimes I use a can of cat food with hole or slits cut in the can or container
