That’s no way to want to start the year, unless your getting a newer boat.

After having a house full of kids/grand kids over Christmas I made the drive down to Atlanta for New Years eve. My son swung through on his way home to Louisiana and I got to babysit the two granddaughters, Isla and Gracelyn, while the rest of the gang (daughter, SIL, son, DIL and grandson) went to the Peach Bowl to watch Michigan State. The grandson, Brantley, requested Paw Paw Jerry fish as the pre-game meal. He is now converted from an LSU fan to a MSU fan. New Years eve I smoked a 15 pound brisket that was awesome. Waited out the weather and made the drive back to Michigan on Tuesday. Now it's back to work. It's going to be a busy winter.
The older I get the more I realize the therapeutic benefits of fishing

Sounds like a Wonderful Holiday that might hold you over through the busy winter.
    Best to you and yours.
