Been a while since I've written one of these.
The weather has been nice lately and I've been out fishing in all kinds of weather trying for crappie.
Finding a few dead and many anglers telling me the good old days of last year when they would catch at least one.
None, totally skunked so far this year.
So, I switched gears, put on my good shoes, and went rockbass fishing.

Most parks on the lake have gold mines, laying there waiting for anglers to pick at them for a few nuggets. Well, I convinced my brother, FishnSips, to join me.
We tiptoed on the rocks looking for decent hideouts for these gangsters and they were hiding well.
Spit hooks, line cut on the rocks and many lost lifting them out of the water. But we managed to reap a reward every so often.
Just dangling a jig in front of them. That's all it took.

We have fish in the freezer and spent some wonderful weather fishing.
