Excellent way to spend a glorious MI afternoon in September! Nice mixed bag. Carol pulled a nice walleye about that size out of Sessions last year. Way to go.

Michelle decided Friday would be a good day to take off a half day and enjoy a little last of the summer boat time. We loaded up and headed to the local no wake lake here in Ionia county. Ended up only sharing the lake with one other boat most of the afternoon. Although the fishing wasn't hot on Sessions, Mother nature was ending summer with a bang. In the 80's, clear skies and no wind. We long lined weed edges and were able to scratch out a supper. We boated 11 crappie with the largest being 10.5. Caught a bonus walleye that was 16.5 and 8 bass to finish out the trip. Michelle loves this hot weather and glad I could get her out to enjoy a little of it. But I am looking forward to some of the cooler days fall will bring.

Unapplied biblical truth is like unapplied paint...how many gallons do you have sittin' around? U.D.
