Welcome to the page.
Ive heard of the river being great for suckers in the spring and the big lake and canals for perch in the winter. But I'm not the most familiar with the area.

East of town is Saddle Lake. Public launch is off 12th Ave on south side of lake. We did well on Crappie a few years back fishing along the weed lines. Also a flat that produced well in the west bay. That's the only lake that direction that I've fished.
Further northeast towards M40 Eagle, Muskrat, and Duck lakes can all produce well. Good luck!

You can try the Kalamazoo river for walleye put in at Shultz Park in Sagatuck off Blue Star Highway ,head out west to chanel.their is fishing off the pier @South Haven,or try Vanocken Lake. Try to Google Michigan lakes their is a state map of all lakes. I would use caution if putting in @Allegan Dam with all the rain, river can be very fast below the dam,I have fished on the lake above the dam,the water is muddy but their is good fishing .Their is a launch off Monroe Road across the gun range ,good luck.
Thanks for the help and welcome will let you know how the fishing was.
