Anyone just get theirs online and keep a copy on their phone vs. the trip to Meijer Kiosk?.......
I’m usually never without my phone, and just use that, however would NEVER toss it to Jerry........

The less I can be dependent on that electronic tethering device called a phone the better.

Steve for the win!
I think I will still buy mine from home, on the PC, vs the phone, and then print off the license a few times.
I can stash one in my boat, one in the truck, and a few extra, so I don't need to keep track of the "Original" that I usually keep, and then put it in a back pack, or such when I fish with different people.
The idea of having it, or a photo of it on my phone as a back up is still appealing to me though. I always have a copy of it available should some one ask.

I stopped at the bait shop yesterday, chatted up the lady working there and found out some good info about crappie chasing minnows in the canal on a local lake. Browsed their inventory and bought a paper copy license from her. All things you can't do on your phone. Plus, I seldom take my phone on the boat with me. I don't want the interruption while I'm fishing.

I came close to throwing mine like a frisbee while fishing because of annoying text messages. Only reason I have it with is for precision trolling. I now put it in airplane mode while fishing.
Have any of you seen a Lifetime License? I bought one in either 1984 or 85. We had just bought some property on a lake and were making plans to build a house. The state offered the lifetime license for $200. So I’ve had mine since then. I think it was a wise choice.
At that time I was newly married, had 2 small rugrats and the annual license was maybe 8.00. 200.00 was a lot of money but looking back, I should have pulled the trigger. Seems like it was around 1000.00 for a lifetime sportsman license.
