Danny I enjoyed the chat too. The places I told you about I figure I would write them in this post for you to refer back to.
Fayette State Park on the Garden Peninsula is worth the visit. There is a new RV park and a restaurant/bar in Garden overlooking Garden Bay. Bar is called “The Dock”
A little closer to Manistique ( Manustink to some of us) is Palms Book State Park and Big Spring Kitchitikipi, I’ve had the pleasure of scuba diving in that spring when I was on that county (Schoolcraft) search and rescue dive team. In Manustink there is another new RV park on Lake Michigan right across from Lakeshore She’ll gas station ( Judy was the manager of those Shell stations UP there and this was the first store)
I hope you enjoy the trip in that area, I lost my youth UP there, so if you find it could you bring it back to me?

.....and only black now, haven’t had a creamer in it since Jan. 24.

Friday night we had a big family get together fish fry. Served up some fish from my recent offshore trip along with a package of crappie from last falls trip to DarBonne.



Daughter in laws made sides to go with the baked and fried fish. Sent home the leftover fish with my sons.....dad didn’t want any but loved the meal. All that good eating put me off the track on my dieting, so today back on track.....a family get together was worth the temporary derailment.

Warmer temps and ice breaking up! Soft water season is on the horizon!

A diet is a consistent way of eating. As if to say "my normal diet consists of". Being on a diet means you make changes. Your normal diet maintains based on choloric intake consumed and burned in a day. As we get older, our main diet changes as we perform less exercise to burn what we intake. Being on a diet simply means you burn more than you consume.

Think of it this way the next time you eat something outside of your "diet".
