Boat and motor ready to go.....................check
Oil change on truck.................................check
New tires on truck..................................check
Tool box packed and ready to go..............check
Plenty of travel snacks packed.................check
Coolers set out ......................................check

We have another 48 hours to complete the list before we set out on another adventure to Louisiana. Jeff and I plan on being on the road by 6 pm Friday and will drive through the night. Hopefully we'll be there by mid morning Saturday and, after a short nap, plan on having a crawfish boil Saturday evening. The fishing starts Sunday, weather permitting, with a trip to Caney Lake. Stay tuned for updates. I just hope it's not too hot or I may have to go Sasquatch on those southerners.
