I was able to get those at the Novi show when I went with Rich and Dale.

I’ve never been to Northwoods before, heard there is lots to look at.

Trolling rods for 4.95, accudepth reels for 54.95, rapala ddhj 12s for 5.49. Sometimes they have 3 for 9.99. Was just there two weeks ago. Left 250.00 lighter

Some one, I think Skillet007 was telling me that the springs are not the same from Northwoods. (Could have been a different place) so Skillet007 chime in with the correct location.

But the springs are lacking the proper tension, for proper use.....

You would be pulling a crank, and the flag would tattle..... lol

Nope, that would be Frank's. They sell their boards with tattle flags installed.

Unfortunately, they make their own wire and use their springs. They are too light. It is a good price for a pair of boards but I wouldn't use their flag kit.

If you buy a new board, there is two options.
1: purchase the economy kit with comes with spring, spacer, screw eye, and pre formed wire. You use the existing flag that came with the board.

    2. Purchase the complete upgrade kit. Comes with a new flag, wire, spring, spacer, screw eye, and 2 OR16 clips.

Option two is great if you have pre 2017 boards that came with the old tattle flags as you will get the new flag. You also get two new OR16 clips.

Economy kit is OR12TFEK and costs 9.99 direct through Off Shore.

The comple kit is OR12TF and costs 27.10.

The springs are 7.75 each and are ORS2

Spent the day with the Mrs. First checked out the boat launch and then the camp site, then drove across 55 to I-75 south. Little 2 1/2 hour stop at the West Branch outlet store so Judy could do a little shopping.

Then on to Northwoods......Wow is all I can say. A lot of stuff, but I managed to not spend all my Benjamin Franklin!

I see Jerry was there and must have left quite an impression, so much that they put up a statue at the entrance in his honor.

From there headed back home but first stopped off in Grand Ledge to have a cold beer with our friends Jerry and Kristie.

All in all it was a great day to see some country we’ve never been to before.

Flicker minnows, husky jerks, and harness blades would have ate that up for me.

You should have went 5 miles down the road to Frank's and finished it off!

I just left northwoods and franks, I did very well I must say, I stuck to my plan and only bought what I went for. I needed some OR16 clips and new pads. Time to get the gear tuned up and ready for spring time trolling

We must be thinking alike. Changes some crank hooks the other day, rebuilt some harnesses last night. Got a few more to do and then on to changing out or16 and 19 clips on boards, then pads on the old clips, then fixing some or16 pins.

Going with green flags on some boards this year too
