I have spiles, T's and hose if you want to tap. I used to make a few gallons every year to get the kids involved in the whole process and still have all the stuff.

Thanks Jerry. Was going to do it for fun with Abby. Then I thought: hmmm, I'll buy it from John again and be done with it!

Feels like spring today. I have to take the truck in for new tires this morning then plan on stopping in at Steves to see what he's been up to. I bought my tires on line from tirebuyer.com and saved about 150.00. Ordered them Tuesday evening and they were delivered to the installer by noon the next day. Win/win, I saved money and local business makes money on mounting them for me.

    Jim,

You got the Decaf right? To much caffeine, and you will be shaking, and twitching and sputtering about the new boat........

Quick phone call .... Jerry and I will meet up for breakfast while his tires are getting mounted.

    Good morning ready4boat!

Going into Lansing yesterday for materials and no brakes!!!!! Lucky I have a manual transmission so I could slow it down for stop signs taking dirt roads home. Turns out brake line needed to be replaced.

Wonder what the next problem is going to be.

You know what happens when you have too much time on your hands???? You end up thinking of new and exciting ways to do something. Usually at the expense of your bank account.

I've researched different boats over the last few years and, although I like certain brands over another, I look at them all subjectivly. After Jimmy was looking for a boat, I did some looking and was amazed at how the prices shot up on certain brands (Ranger, Triton, Stratus). I've been a huge fan of Warrior for a couple of years now so I was glad when Jimmy decided to order one.

So, like any sane person would do when they have free time, I conjure up some hair brained idea. Of course, I had to get someone else to buy off on it...

    Conversation went like this:
Hey dad, you think we could sell my boat and your boat and buy a new boat?

    Dad: Why?

You have had yours 3 years and have 8 hours on it. We go together 90% of the time. One boat in my barn is better than two (Three if you count Brian's).

Plus, we pool our resources and we can get something really cool!!!!

    Dad: Ya, whatever..

So, you are left to ponder what the term "ya, whatever" really means.
Too much time on my hands makes me dangerous! And broke

In my house the term whatever means I’m in trouble....

I had a shop visitor this morning, my youngest grandson Adam. He is such a good natured guy ( just like his Papa Steve).
I’ve often said (somewhat in jest) that Grandkids are God’s reward for not killing your own kids....
