Never fished it Jimmy.

It is very similar to the "Fall Brawl" that they run out of Ohio each year. Not sure on the prizes for the Domka event but the overall winner of the fall brawl is a new boat.

Those dates pretty much allow for fish to be weighed from River fishing all the way up to post spawn. I suspect that the winner would be somewhere close to 14lbs.

One rule often overlooked: All participants within a boat MUST be registered! Obviously, how would they know who was fishing with you that day but... those are the rules.

On the flip side... if you plan on fishing that area quite a bit in the spring, it would be worth paying the money. Whether jigging the river or fishing Erie. I've caught several fish over 12lbs. 30bucks is a small price to pay to win something.

My nights often go like this.....

In bed sleeping, trying to be like Steve and others and get up early.

11:30-45ish, I hear the door, then the dogs.

60 seconds later, Rylee running through house with Bosco the St Bernard.
7 seconds after the running starts, the barking starts........

More running, more barking, some furniture moving, then laughing.........

Bedroom door opens......
“psssssdt, Dad you up?” About the time that question ends I’m face to face w/ 130# of St Bernard puppy, who is coming in like Becky for a kiss.

“I am now, why?”

“You should have seen it, Bosco was running, couldn’t stop and took out the couch”

“Put it back and go outside.........”

I believe I am still the youngster of the group. Even though I might look like I'm 80!

The boys (Tyler and Jordan) are younger than me however.

Just got done relocating all my Venison & Fish.

Seems the kids easy bake ovens & that particular freezer don’t get along.

Yeah, it’s even past my bedtime now.........

Gonna need coffee in the morning which is gonna be way to soon.
