They sell tons because of the price point.

Isn’t Tracker a product of Bass Pro that bought out Cabelas?
At least I thought so, but am not sure.
Probably start to see a mix of Bass Pro & Cabelas lines of products soon, as they get overhead figured out, etc.
But as I said, I am not exactly sure If Tracker was Bass Pro.

Not correct. Tracker, Ranger, Stratus, Triton, Nitro, and Mako are owned by Johnnie Morris, NOT bps.
Cabelas and BPS are owned by a group of people. Johnnie Morris is a majority stock holder

Some feel he does.........Own it all, that is.....
If he is the majority stock holder then is he not the person with the most influence, input, etc?
I don’t know enough other than that he owns ALLOT, he is a majority Stock holder, founder of BPS, that owns everything listed, and bought Cabelas......
I see it as enough of a conglomerate to avoid them as much as possible.
Will be interesting to see what Cabelas does with their lifetime warranty.
I have Cabelas DepthMaster reels for my Salmon Rods.
Had one that the level winder was going bad. Took it back to Cabelas 2 years later, no receipt, scratched to crap, but other than that functionally sound except the level wind.
Asked for parts, and because it said Cabelas on the side of it, they just replaced the whole reel.
As long as they do that, and I am as close as I am to Cabelas, I’ll keep those reels for a long ASH time.........
But since the take over by BPS, if they discontinue that process, I’ll be looking at new reels.
We will see influence of BPS, into the Cabelas lines of products.

The key is that the company BPS is not the owner. It is separated for a reason.
The investment group that owns BPS and purchased cabelas does not have any ownership of the boat portion.
I see a big change on the horizon and suspect that many stores will soon close due to oversaturation of the market. Amazon is going to start taking over.
G, didn't mean to make it sound like that.
