If trouble was what you were looking for, might I suggest going up to Clare first. Stop at Jay's, do some shopping and then continue on up towards Harrison. Might as well stop at Miceli's corner (this is were the trouble would probably start)! From there you could head East towards Northwoods.

Oh wait, I forgot, they open at 5pm! So, go to Frank's, then Northwoods, then over to Miceli's, then down to Jays, and you are back home at a decent hour.
If not familiar with Miceli's.... google it!

We made it there and back and couldn't find any trouble to get into. Steve spent some money on things he needed and I spent money on things I didn't need. Got three more packs of small crappie jigs to go with the 798 jigs I already had and picked up another four packs of plastics for spring walleye on The Detroit. Seeing how I went through 4 worms last spring in 4 trips, bought 10 years worth today to put with the 25 years worth I already had. Like I told Steve, how can you NOT buy it when it's only a dollar?

Yup, had a great day, however I learned a valuable lesson today....see I always try to help out a friend if I can and my old buddy Sparty being single and all I thought maybe I could use my wit, charm and silver tongue linguistics to score him a date for this years ice fishing jamboree!
At the check out counter at Northwoods, there is a very cute friendly cashier who I struck up a conversation with, during the course of check out she tells me she would LOVE to go ice fishing......my mind instantly seen the opening and I told her that my buddy with the cart behind me (Jerry) and I do some ice fishing and we could always use a hand to pull out our shanty's and if she wanted to go she could go with us, just hit up Jerry to find out when we are going......she looks at Sparty with those puppy dog eyes begging for him to ask her to go (at least it appeared so to me) .......he dropped the ball and didn't jump on the opportunity I had just put in his lap!

He proceeds to check out with no hint of giving her his phone number....I shrug my shoulders and think to myself, well she might be a little young for Jerry, so....okay I tried.

On our way out to the parking lot it's raining a little and this red headed lady who I'm just guessing could have been the Miss Linwood Cribbage Queen of 1947 strikes up a conversation with ole Sparty.....how can he stand not wearing a coat in this cold? I told her, this was nothing...ole Jerry walks around on the ice in just his bibs with no shirt on! This must have excited her because next thing I know she has her hands on Jerry's arms saying he must be a very hot man! I decided to exit left and leave them to converse......my Lesson today?

You two are a hoot. How is it that you remain out of trouble when together. Dumb luck is it?

    Devine intervention.

I don't suppose the truck conversation afterwards is considered "family friendly"?

Not only was it not “family friendly” if I were to say what the conversation was, I’m pretty sure I would lose my moderatorship.......

Well, what can I say to that? If I took Steves advice when it comes to acquiring women and boats, I would have a couple of each......for every day of the week. And in every color, size, age and shape known to man. I do appreciate him looking out for me, though. And to keep the record straight, the cribbage queen said I must be hot blooded, as she gently laid her hand on my arm.

    Yeah, I've still got it!

If they really REALLY wanted trouble, they could have saved some gas......

Quick jaunt down Keefer highway, then onto East Riverside, and stop @ the Alibi Bar.

Becky known the hand out there.

Jerry could walk her over to the river and show her, WAIT, she would carry Jerry over the the river bank, proceed to give Jerry lessons in the finer arts of Miceli’s & Steve would have to SAVE HIM.

The next YouTube video would be the both of them running for their lives through the wooded river banks of Ionia.......
