I'm in. Any of those are fine with me. How about Shelbyville in 6 1/2, Taylorsville in 6 1/2, Rend in 8, Chickamauga in 10. North, south, east or west, I'm up for anything.
9 hours is a long ways for black crappies. We could be to Enid, Sardis, Barkley, Kentucky Lake... the list goes on and on

Rich & Steve know that I have been working on my livewell that quit working, suddenly between Saturday & Sunday. Its not a mouse, at least not that fast.
Must be the pump? Blocked impeller, blocked hose, checked those, nope, test the pump direct to a battery. Pump works fine, not the pump.
Must be wires, Mock up the layout, and fuse only blows when turned OFF, but ran fine when turned on.
Must be the switch, got a new switch from Cabela's last night. I am going to assume that the switch although looks the same, the internals are not the same.
Connected that new switch up, and it was like the FIREWORKS @ the Parthenon when we came into the year 2,000.
Good news, I was testing everything mocked up on a separate battery so as to NOT fry anything on the boat.
Will be looking at wiring schematics in my free time tonight, and mock up a whole switch.....
The Adventure continues.............
Good New, its supposed to rain all weekend, I wont feel like I'm missing out on some fishing. That's bad news for every one else who wanted to fish.

I think you might have an issue between the current switch and where it gets power.
Is it an inline fuse (flat or round glass) or one in the dash?
Where is the current livewell pump grounded? Right to the battery or to a grounding block?
Obviously, a wire comes from the pump, to the switch and then to power. Where does that power wire go? To a main pigtail bag to the battery OR, in my case, to a main power bus located under the console?
For me, I have a power bus and a grounding bus under the console. Obviously, it would be a waste to run a ground wire direct from the pump up to that bus so I would think that it attaches to the main ground to the battery. I suspect yours is the same.
So, here is where I would start. Look at that ground. Maybe pull it off, clean it, and check ANYTHING that is next to it. Next, check your wire from the switch to your fuse. You COULD have a bad fuse block. After that, check the wire to the main power bus. You COULD have a hot wire at the bus double feeding power. It might be worth removing the power, cleaning it, and then inserting it in a different location.
Because this happened all of a sudden, my guess is that a wave (or waves) or constant pounding over several trips could have jogged a connection loose OR, chaffed a wire. It sounds like you are getting more power than needed. If you are not concerned with the pump, A good test would be to put in a larger amp fuse and see if it operates without issues. IF it does, you have a double power feed. If it doesn't, well, you still know where to start.
It is a boat, and they take a pounding. Check the connections. You may find it is as simple as that.

If it runs ok like you say with switch on....but blows fuse when you cut it off....you have a direct short from power to ground when switch is in off position....so my thinking is is you have a switch that's bad....messed up inside.

Wait, does that mean you like my boat Rich?
You know it still has NON plushy seats right? & it has a Mercury, 2 things I know you are not fans of..........
Feel free to help Steve Kick a guy while he's down, Heck SpartanNation might even host a grill, and charge admission. We could make some $$, as long as I get a cut I guess.
I think i have it narrowed down, I will test my theory later tonight when I get home. Its been rolling around in my head all day long.

Aaron, do you have a timer on your livewell? If not you should look into a timer switch.
